April and Jim

May 28, 2006, Memorial Day weekend....what a beautiful day! Check out those gorgeous Colorado skies! April and Jim were married at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton. April had warned me ahead of time that Jim was not going to be easy to shoot, he hated having his picture taken. Months ago they did their engagement session with a different commercial portrait studio and she said Jim refused to even do some of the poses!! But today, he showed no signs of stiffness. The two of them just kept looking at each other and laughing! Congratulations April and Jim!!!!!!!!!

Jewels of Highlands

This is the 2nd year I have donated my photography services to the Highlands Historic Homes Tour. If you are looking for something to do with your mother this Sunday, check it out! There are some really neat homes on this tour, from Victorian mansions to classic Highland bungalows. The owners of these historic homes have opened their doors for the tour and each has a story to tell about the home, its unique architecture, and those who lived there in the early 1900's.
